PROTON SAVVY HKS ground kit installation ( with picture )

Remember on last post that I've said that I'm going to install a ground kit on my PROTON SAVVY??? Well yeah, and here is the picture that I've managed to take during installation. By installing this ground kit to your car will increase your car performance and help preserve your car battery.

###WARNING!!!###

All the installation are install according to my car specs! So, if you are driving the same car as mine which is PROTON SAVVY but with some modification, it is recommended to ask help from professional. My car have few modification that has been done to the engine internal and slightly a little bit different from the stock engine. But the way this ground kit installed will be the same as stock engine.

Pictures say thousand words... This is how I install my ground kit on PROTON SAVVY. Just a very simple tutorial.

OK! Before we proceed, it's better to unplugged the terminal from battery. It might not necessary to do so... But, better be safe than sorry and by doing so can also reset your ECU! This will make your car learn the new way of driving experience with the new mod apply.

Connect to the throttle area

Connect to the chassis (earth) 

Then, connect to the throttle manifold area with 2 wires. 1 to the chassis (earth) on opposite side and 1 to the alternator.

Connect to the alternator

This is the last part of process. After you connect all the wires as shown like the picture above, arrange all your wires with neat and tidy then tie it up. Now, connect all the wires to the minus ( - ) terminal and assemble back all things.

Alright! Now that you have done installing all the ground kit and it's time to start you car for test drive. Feel the difference yourself...

Things that has improve after applying the ground kit.

1. More sensitive torque.

2. Better fuel consumption.

3. Less jerk when air-cond is switch on during driving.

4. Air-cond getting cold more quickly.

5. Headlamps brighter than before.

6. Car smoother on top gear and less revving noise.
