Mazda RX-7 FC
Hello everyone... Few days ago when I was driving down the road, I saw a Mazda legend car "Mazda Savanna RX-7 FC3S" in white color. If you had watch Initial D anime or movie, you should know who is driving this car. "Takahashi Ryosuke, the leader of REDSUN team in Initial D first stage. Later then in Fourth stage he finally recruit Fujiwara Takumi which is driving Toyota Trueno AE86 into Project D." This car quite popular in Japan which they use as track race or rally car. And of course, it also quite popular in drift sport event.

DESIGN
The white metallic color really suitable for this car and the design. By the way, we were already get used with the white color since we have seen it in Initial D drama anime series. Talk about the car design, we all thanks to Mazda's stylists led by Chief Project Engineer Akio Uchiyama It's featured the complete restyling reminiscent of the Porsche 944. What make the car look so stylish was the retractable / pop up headlamp which we can found in almost all 80's car. Nowadays car doesn't has this kind of badass design anymore. I just wish that one day the Japanese car maker will reproduce all the 80's car chassis but with a little bit touch up on accessories and run on fuel inject engine instead of classic carburetor. I just wish they can reproduce the classic TOYOTA TRUENO AE86 or TOYOTA COROLLA TE71 both run on 4AGE big port or Silvertop 20V. Upgraded suspension and safety features, full time lock LSD 2.0 axle and T50 gearbox. But too bad they reproduce it in different version which it doesn't even close to the old concept AE86 but more to Subaru design. Run on boxer engine, different styling and there's no feeling of driving AE86 at all.
TRADEMARK
Every Mazda fans knows what's the trademark
for Mazda car. It was the label of RX-7 which is run on Wankel Rotary Engine and FMR
layout. The best engine design which carried the name of RX-7 and code name 13B
rotary.
The engine cc were only 1.3cc but the HP and performance was more than
2.0cc on dyno test result. The engine also available in both turbocharged
version and normal aspirated.
This engine were still used on 3rd generation
RX-7 FD3s and it was the last model line for RX-7 to use such a powerful
engine. However, the new Mazda RX-8 still using Wankel Rotary Engine but with different version and it known as the Renesis rotary wankel. Still, the performance were not as good as the old RX-7 13B as the performance parts has change a lot and has get low to comply with the rules or law of the traffic.
